1. HOW THIS RELATES TO ODIX
ODIX obtains the payment processing behind ODIX Money Transfer from the Payments Partner under a contract. ODIX is the Payments Partner's "Account Holder"; ODIX customers who send money through the App are not account holders of the Payments Partner and have no direct contract with the Payments Partner. ODIX remains responsible to you for the service under Part E.
When you send money with ODIX Money Transfer, ODIX instructs the Payments Partner to make a payout to your recipient under these Payouts Terms. The rules below explain why we need accurate recipient details, a sufficient balance and prompt answers to compliance questions.
2. HOW PAYOUTS WORK
Payouts are made from the account holder's wallet with the Payments Partner by local transfer or SWIFT, with automatic currency conversion at the Payments Partner's prevailing rate. The Payments Partner describes the service as offering same-day settlement in many corridors, but no processing times or cut-off times are guaranteed.
3. PRE-FUNDING
The wallet must hold enough to cover the payout, fees and any exchange rate movement; negative balances are not allowed. This is why ODIX checks that you have enough available balance before sending.
4. RECIPIENT DETAILS
The account holder is responsible for accurate recipient details, including account numbers and SWIFT/BIC codes. The Payments Partner does not recover funds sent to the wrong account because of incorrect details, and any fees caused by invalid instructions are charged to the account holder.
5. COMPLIANCE AND EXECUTION
Every payout is screened for sanctions and compliance. A payout may be held, delayed, refused, returned or reversed — even after settlement — and the Payments Partner may ask for information about the source of funds or wealth. The Payments Partner is not liable for delays caused by compliance checks, recipient bank holds, incorrect instructions, third parties or force majeure.
6. RETURNS AND REVERSALS
A failed or returned payout is credited back as the net amount after fees, charges and exchange rate differences. The Payments Partner may reverse a payout that a payment provider invalidates, that was made in error or unauthorised, or that is linked to prohibited activity. No specific recall procedure is set out.
7. BANK CHARGES
The Payments Partner sends the full payout amount but does not guarantee that the recipient receives it in full, because intermediary and recipient banks may deduct charges.
8. NAME CHECK
The Payments Partner offers an optional, indicative check of the recipient's name and account details. The result is not guaranteed.
9. NATURE OF FUNDS
Funds in a wallet with the Payments Partner are not a bank deposit, are not insured and do not earn interest. In some jurisdictions, payouts are money transmission only.
