2. USING YOUR CARD
2.1 You must sign or activate your Card as instructed in the App and keep your Card details, PIN and one-time codes secret.
2.2 The Card may only be used up to the amount of the available balance loaded onto it. If you attempt a transaction that exceeds your available balance, it will be declined on the grounds of insufficient funds.
3. 3-D SECURE AUTHENTICATION
3.1 Online card transactions may be subject to EMV 3-D Secure ("3DS") authentication. Depending on the risk assessment of the Card Issuer (Reap) and its authentication providers, authentication may be completed through an interactive challenge, such as a one-time password, or through a frictionless process that requires no visible action from you.
3.2 The absence of an OTP, notification or pop-up does not necessarily mean that 3DS authentication was not performed. Authentication results may be taken into account when assessing disputes and may affect chargeback rights under the Card Network rules. Nothing in these Terms excludes any mandatory rights you have under Applicable Law or Card Network rules.
4. INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, FREEZING AND CLOSURE
4.1 The table below summarises what happens when Card transactions are declined for insufficient funds:
Situation | What happens | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
A transaction exceeds your available balance | The transaction is declined for insufficient funds. | Top up your Card and try again. |
Five (5) consecutive payment attempts are declined for insufficient funds | ODIX Pay may temporarily freeze (suspend) the Card without further notice. No transactions can be made while it is frozen. | Top up the Card and complete any security or identity checks we reasonably request to reactivate it. |
The Card is not reactivated and no funds are loaded within fourteen (14) days of being frozen | ODIX Pay may, at its sole discretion, permanently close and remove the Card. | Apply for a new Card in the App if you wish to keep using ODIX Pay services. |
4.2 ODIX Pay is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, cost or delay arising from a transaction decline, temporary freezing or permanent closure of the Card carried out in accordance with this clause.
5. USING YOUR CARD THROUGH A DIGITAL WALLET
5.1 Where available, you can add your Card to a supported Digital Wallet. The Digital Wallet is provided by a third party under its own terms, and we are not responsible for its availability or operation.
5.2 Payments made through a Digital Wallet are treated as Card transactions under these Terms. Keep the device on which your Digital Wallet is installed secure, and remove the Card from the Digital Wallet before you sell or give away the device.
6. LOST, STOLEN OR MISUSED CARDS
6.1 If your Card or Card details are lost, stolen or used without your permission, freeze the Card in the App straight away and contact us at support@odixpay.com.
6.2 To protect vulnerable customers from fraud, we may ask you to complete an ID Confirmation Photo (IDCP) process before approving a payment. You must double-check payee details before making a payment.
